How Water Damage Gwinnett Works
We’re a referral and call-routing service. When you call, we connect you with an independent restoration provider that serves your part of Gwinnett County. We’re not a contractor and we’re not the county. Here’s exactly what happens, and how we’re paid.
You’ll be connected with a local restoration provider.

What Happens When You Call
Calls may be recorded for quality and dispute resolution. You’ll hear the notice before you’re connected; staying on the line means you agree to the recording.
It goes to an independent restoration provider that serves the property’s area, or to a call network’s answering service that connects you with one. Routing is based on location and availability, not a ranking of quality. You may be asked a few quick questions first, such as where the property is and whether there’s active water damage.
The provider talks with you, inspects the damage, gives you a price, sets the schedule, does the work and bills you directly. Whether you hire them is your choice.
If the call drops, the provider may call or text you back about the service you asked for. We don’t use your number for marketing and don’t send marketing texts.
How We’re Paid, and What We Are Not

- Not a contractor. We don’t do restoration work, hold contractor licenses, carry insurance for the work, or guarantee response times or results. Before you hire anyone, verify their license and insurance for the job.
- Not the county. For problems with public water or sewer lines, Gwinnett County Water Resources has its own 24/7 line: (678) 376-7000. For sewage backing up into a home, see who to call first.

Does the website collect my information?
There are no forms to fill in. The site uses Google Analytics to see which pages help people, and it won’t load if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or you turn it off on the privacy page. When you call, the call-tracking platform logs your number and the call details, as the privacy policy explains.
Is Water Damage Gwinnett the county or a restoration company?
Neither. We’re a referral and call-routing service. Gwinnett County Water Resources handles problems with public water and sewer lines at its own 24/7 line, (678) 376-7000; independent restoration contractors do the cleanup and repair work.
